Wot ya got in mind Jem ?
I stopped using the words bugger and sod when I first found out their meaning.
I was once ridiculed by my office colleagues for saying "Ruddy Heck" !
Bugger! I feel so much better now ..............
Oh my, when I was little I thought it was the rudest word in the world.
I thought bum was!!
I used to say it a lot until my toddler daughter, sat in a restaurant shouting bugger bugger bugger to all and sundry at the top of her voice! This was the only time I was ever able to think quickly and tell her, "No sweetie you're not having a burger today" - Now some 20 years or so later it still makes me cringe, cured me of saying it though.......
I very often use the term "bugger off" or "sod off", so bugger all you like I say!...lol..:D
I'm shocked!!!! (ok....I use it....)
In the play Under Milkwood, Dylan Thomas called a town Llareggub, which is Bugger All spelled backwards
