Where do advertisers find such cool music?

For years they've been using leftfield songs from artists that most people would hardly know...I would have never known of DJ Shadow if it wasn't for the O2 ad, and Stratus' Uplink is another catchy song that I found out by chance. I just need to know what station thy're all listening to!!

My guess would be that they've got people out there whose job it is to find this music who have a lot of resources -- perhaps they're also from the music industry. Why not try a google search?

i think youve got it the wrong way round ... the ad tunes become catchy because they are in ads ... just look at all the crap songs levis have uesed over the years that have been best sellers after thr advert
