Film - Roman Holiday

Can anyone tell me if the film Roman Holiday has been produced in colour? If so, where can I purchase a Video or DVD of this film?

I am 99% certain it was never released in colour but a collectors edition DVD was released in black and white in November 2002. It cost $24.99 from Amazon.com. I have not checked if you can get it from amazon.co.uk but if you are interested in the B& w version you can have a look.

There was vogue in the 80's to 'colorize' films (deliberate American spelling) for dim witted American TV audiences. Sometimes it was done quite well but very very rarely. I suspect Roman Holiday was done but i very much doubt it was released on video.
ps. dont mean to imply you are dim witted for wanting it in colour!

Hi Celine, I'm pretty sure that Roman Holiday is available at most reputable stores (I've definately seen it for sale in HMV). I have the Audrey Hepburn Boxset and it's in there and i'm pretty sure it's black and white.
