I collected hubby's meds from the pharmacy yesterday, whilst checking them he discovered there was no Lipitor tablets, rang pharmacy they were not on the list, rang surgery to find out why, and the receptionist in a very peeved know it all voice she told him "Mr Sa your Lipitor was discontinued you now have been prescribed Atorvastatin " - he had to explain to the poor thing that Lipitor is the trade name for Atorvastatin !
also it had been left out.

You didnt know it had been changed so where genuinley concerned it had been missed. Drs receptionists are useless!
