Potatoes - when to pick?
Hello.
Back in the middle of June I planted some chitted spuds in a potatoes grow bag and asked on here when to harvest them.
The answer was when the flowers are dying off.
The problem is, especially with our weird summer's weather we are having, there are no flowers and some stalks are looking very anemic.
Any hints and tips please?

Yep leave them in, there's no harm in leaving them there. Then just harvest once the tops are brown and take what you need for your meals as and when. I have a small veggie patch and have been harvesting a few handfuls every few days for a month or so and I have another month's worth to go. So no need to harvest them all (unless it were later and frosts were on the way)...

Ours barely flowered this year either but the tops are dying off and that means the growing is over and they're ready to dig up. Here's a picture of plants ready to harvest - do they look like this?

Thanks for ALL your answers!
@ Maidup...the stems are not that dead looking. Still upright with no droop but definately looking as they are going that way!
So you are saying now is the time to harvest? We are going away (Olympics Ladies footy final...woo whoo!!) for a few days, so would they be okay to leave in the soil 'til the weekend please?
