I just wondered why some cases get immediate media attention, huge police involvement from the start, and yet most we never hear of. The case dominating the news at the moment is of Tia Sharpe, yet her case is no different to most. She just went out and hasnt been since. Why has this one become such a huge story?? Yet in the same week another teenage girl went missing and nothing was heard till she was found the next day in local woods.

Indeed, I got the impression from the press that this is what was happening....
I think the reason certain cases get media attention is down to the police and that they probably know more than they are letting on.

I hope I'm wrong and they find Tia safe and well but I fear the worse for her
