Seems it is Rope Climb but 1896 was the only one at 14m. the rest were at approx 8m.

The rope climb was a Gymnastics discipline (just as pommel horse, rings, etc.) and there is no immediate evidence that it featured in every Modern Olympics up to and including 1932. Where it does feature a range of rope lengths are recorded:

1896 Athens - 14m
1900 Paris - 6m
1904 St Loius - 7.62m (25 ft)
1906 Intercalated Olympics Athens - 10m
1908 London - probably 8m
1912 Stockholm - Not listed*
1920 Antwerp - Not listed*
1924 Paris - 8m
1928 Amsterdam - Not a listed discipline
1932 Los Angeles - 7.62m (25 ft)

*Not an individual event but Team Free System Gymnastics allowed apparatuses of the team's choice so could have included rope climb.

You'd need a strong arm to hold a 7mt sword.
I was thinking there might have been a 14 Mt dive once.
