Stuck on 24ac - Their highest peak is Piz Bernina (8,4) - ?H?E?I?N ?L?S - 2nd word must be Alps, but can't see what first word can be. Help appreciated.

Also, in FT Cryptic 14080, I have the following answers but don't see how they fit the clues. Again, enlightenment appreciated!!

11ac - art looking into religious official- ?R?E?T - must be priest, but don't understand the art reference

12ac - movement of bird began movement in intelligence (4,4) - W?N? B?A?
seems like it should be wing beat, but don't follow reference to intelligence.
