Hi
We are looking to buy our first electric steamer but are a bit lost as where to start?!!
Any recommendations would be greatfully received. We are a family of 4, what litre size would be best for us? I have seen some that are 10 litres, would that be too big? We plan to use it to cook rice, veg etc.. and price range no more than 30 -35.
Also, are there any good cookbooks that could be useful to us as first time steamers?
Many Thanx

I recently purchased a 3 tier (non electric) steamer from Robert Dyas for 10 quid and stainless steel - does a great job and would not do without it. If you need more cooking space buy several !
best advice i can give is buy your self a stove top steamer tons better and easier than electric trust me ive had both i use two at a time when doing larger meals they are fab most essential piece of kitchen equipment and yep robert dyass is your best bet and it will be cheaper than electric
