? Chiron the Centaur
Silenus, the drunkard, is usually credited with being Dionysus' teacher. Click http://www.dl.ket.org/latin1/mythology/1deities/go
ds/lesser/dionysus.htm
for one website that confirms that. Once there, scroll about of the way down the page for the reference.
Oh well done Quizmonster...who taught Silenus?
Well, Woofgang, before and after taking on Dionysus' education, Silenus dwelt among the nymphs of Nisa, so I shouldn't wonder but that they taught Silenus - not to mention Dionysus - a trick or two!
Did he sing as well??
Would this be a bad time to ask who on earth all these people are / were? Is it all some sort of story where everyone is known only by their first name?
that's a joke right Squirrel? you don't watch Xena?
Of course he could sing, Woofgang...all Greek drunks can sing! Dance, too - just like Zorba - I don't doubt!

I've no idea about the colour of his eyes nor what size his papoutsis were either, so I'll leave any further information you require about him for others to supply. (Papoutsis are shoes, by the way.) Cheers
