best travel insurance

i want to know what company offer the best travel insurance,in event of claim etc ,who will pay out pretty fast...had travel insurance b4 but it was a nightmare when i put a claim in,it took forever for them to pay out after much hassling............

all insurance cos are a nightmare when paying out,you are asking for the impossible.

I had a bag stolen in barcelona, when away for a weekend.

my insurance was with the Post Office (provided by fortis). As I only paid �15 for the 2 of us, and put in a claim for �900 ( 2 phones, camera, money, sunglasses, wife's specs etc) I thought I'd be whistling until the cows came home.
1 phone call to fortis, and then I had to send the police report and some proof of purchase for the phones etc (receipts or user manuals were enough) and I was paid out 7 days after coming home.
true, it's my first ever claim on T/Ins, but I was very impressed.

I work for the PO and it sounds like a plug, but I promise you it's genuine. I can believe most get messed about, but I was blown away by how helpful they were.
