Where can I swap books in the UK?

I've got loads of old books and I'd really like to swap them for new ones. Has anyone got any idea where I can swap them? I reckon it would be a good way to get Xmas gifts for people without spending any money.

How strange. A completely new poster has a question about where they can swap books for free the day after two non-questions spamming the site with a link to somewhere that does just that get removed by the AB Editor. Is there any connection, I wonder?
