it was a shocker of a thread last night, the girl sounded terrified, she should have been on the phone to family friends or police though, posting that on here seemed out of context with the gravity of what was going on ,

Just read her thread from last night - shocking. One of the worst things about domestic violence is that you just don't know where to turn. Most people feel too ashamed to talk to friends and family - I know I did.

I'm so glad she felt she could come on here. If nothing else, she will always get support from us lot.

(Can I just add - the domestic violence I was on the receiving end of had nothing to do with Mr P, it was my first (brief) husband.)
