Paralympic Tickets Petition
Seen on the TV news: wheelchair lady tried to book for herself, carer, and her two kids. Turns out she can only sit with her carer, and the kids will have to sit elsewhere,,, didn't Lord Coe and his Committee of Deliverance see this one coming?

Why can they not sit together? I think I'd like to know that before signing any petition. I assume it's not for the obvious reason that that there are no longer 4 seats together? Or the equally reasonable fact that, sadly, its just not possible accommodate disabled spectators' families in the same way, even at the paralympics?
So I've read about this and my view is that unfortunate as this case is a petition to try and force preferential treatment for this lady is not reasonable. The only thing is I note that the children are very young and wouldn't be able to sit on their own anyway. Does that mean they can't go at all? I don't see how this is an issue for a disabled person any more than it would be for anyone else.
