Maybe try a change in routine? Or think of something you've always wanted to do and go out and do it. You could give yourself a challenge - like doing a scuba diving taster course in a swimming pool (only 20), or white water rafting (35) - depending on what pushes your buttons!
It definitely helps as it makes you feel you've achieved something instead of plodding along with the daily stresses of life. And if you book something now it'll give you something to look forward to. A friend of mine did a parachute jump (not something I could do!) even though she's terrified of heights - it really changed her outlook on life, she's realised that there's so much out there to do, but its up to her to take the opportunity.
Sorry to waffle on, hope you feel better soon! x
