Spacestation sighting over UK this evening

First sighting 9 26 pm f for 5 mins. W departing ESE

2nd sighting 11 01 for 2 mins W departing WSW.

excelsior-1 with a clear sky it would have been visible there .If you have seen it once it always comes appox from the same direction that I give you.

My family were excited as they saw it for the first time the other night. Despite me patiently explaining that its a bright light which moves quite quickly across between the two directions given, they were always thinking it was a flashing light like an aeroplane (i kept saying it doesn't flash) but when they saw it they were amazed how bright it was and the fact it moved steadily across the sky, not shooting across like a shooting star.
