I also have to keep signing in to use AnswerBank. (i use IE8 with Windows XP) After entering my email address and password it then gives me the option of 'Sign In' or 'Facebook'. I don't recall Facebook featuring as an option previously and wonder it that may have something to do with it.

If you wish to avoid all the hassle of signing-in each time, then don't log-out from AB. It is safe to remain logged in to AB; providing you are Not using a computer to which anyone else has access.

Looking at Ed's blog I'm apparently not the only one with this sort of problem. I could give Chrome a try, but hesitate because I like to be sure that I can uninstall something and go back to 'square one' if I don't like it. I don't know whether that is the case with Chrome? I believe IE8 is as far as one can go with Windows XP.
Morning Coldicote,
If you are still here please update on the signing in problem. If you can't sign in then please feel free to ignore this message.
If you are here then ron's suggestion of a new browser is a good one, you will easily be able to pick which browser you want to use and uninstall any that you don't like.
Why not head over to Technology and ask there, I hear they know a thing or two.

I am a Firefox Fanatic,. However a lot of AB Techies are opting for Google as being the best. I think most folk would agree that IE is no longer the forerunner in the field. Take your pick from the following:-
