For those of you who, like me, have always monitored the singles and albums charts you may be interested to see the effect of the Olympic ceremonies and Oympic/ParalympicTV trailers on the charts:

I remember the same happening after the last big Live Eight gig, or whatever they called it, (the one where Waters and Gilmore buried the hatchet). Pink Floyd's sales increased by something ludicrous like 3,000% the next week.
