- why would I want to do that
- well, its worked for your a*se!

same difference?!
Would have been even better in `Phrases & Sayings` under Jokes.
Why even better in `Phrases & Sayings` under Jokes.?
it is in Media and TV And guess what .............it was on the..... TV
Getting a bit handy with the ellipses Talbot..............
and technically, NOT a one liner....
Ladies please!
>>>same difference?!

Well technically a boob job can also make boobs smaller (some women have boob reductions).

When writing comedy it is very important to get the line EXACTLY right. The first line as you had it written was not right.

Years ago there was a Tony Hancock show where he went to the blood transfusion to give a pint of blood.

The script writers wanted him to be shocked at giving a pint so had him say
"Thats an arm full".

After thinking they changed it to "Thats nearly an arm full".

Then they finally settled on "Thats very nearly an arm full".

Subtle difference but that is what takes comedy from just being OK to being brilliant.
Watched this last night, as I'd recorded it. That line was very good, made me laugh. Excellent play - do you think the two women should have got off with a suspended sentence? I didn't.

for pete sake - I very rarely post anything on answerbank, some folk are just so petty! VHG - I'm sorry I didn't write it word for word; it was the jist of the joke I was getting at - I didn't realise I was going to be reprimanded.
Thanks Mick!
I'll not bother the next time!
I agree with you Chaptazbru - I don't think they should have got suspended sentences; which really means behave and you get off scott free!
Lol jeni you have to have nerves of steel to post on here sometimes with the often sarky and uncalled for comments you get, when you're only making a valid or interesting comment. Don't let the beggars grind you down!!!

Glad you agree with me about the suspended sentence. Thought the scene at the end when the dead boy's Mum's confronted the other Mum was brilliant. Such fine acting.

Can't wait for next week's.

Thanks Chap!
Yes, I thought the mum of the dead boy was great in the last scene, I could really feel myself getting all het up for her! Roll on next week
