it is not very often that a true-life story impresses me.
good afternoon - I tried to imagine what his reception would actually have been like - a german in britain while the war was still on. I also think that Eddie Marsan is a brilliant actor
I agree ! Eddie Marsan is a brilliant actor. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't believe I had never heard of him, well deserved all his honours.
Eddie Marsan was in Little Dorritt among other things. A brilliant actor.
Eddie Marsan is the new Timothy Spall, everything either one appears in you know its going to be good.
Brilliant drama, thoroughly enjoyed it. Hadn't heard of Eddie Marsan before but will certainly watch out for him in the future.
can anyone name this british budget film all about an allotment site where Eddie Marsan played the surpressed son of the allotment president and he started wearing jazzy shirts because he fancied the black girl who had been given an allotment project, it was really well acted and has been on tv.
Could it be "Grown your Own" Dee Sa - was renamed "The Allotment" at a later stage.
many thanks to both, it was a great little film and the father was played by "Inspector Japp" from Poirot. I hope they put it on again.
