help to identify female singer

Bit of a vague question: a couple of months ago, i remember seeing a TV ad for a new young female singer with an unusual name which I can't remember, but I know I'll recognise when I see it! The music was a kind of soft jazzy sound. I may be wrong, but I think the album cover was a line drawing of the singer on a kind of beige background. Sorry I can't be more specific - grateful for any suggestions as to who it might be!
