I recently ordered a telephone adaptor which is so small that it could easily fit into a matchbox.
It was delivered in a 10 litre capacity cardboard box and padded with lots of brown paper.
In my opinion it could easily have been sent in a padded Jiffy bag.
I recycled it, of course, but what a waste.

If it came from Amazon I wouldn't be surprised. They always go OTT
