this will possibly be my first and last starter of the Good Morning thread...

couldn't sleep, so I have been on a thread for most of the night.

How are you all, awaking fit and ready for the Bank Holiday.....whatever you
have planned, I hope it is a good one, not too much rain !!!
Please don't expect me around to answer a lot of your posts...

since my first post I have flooded the kitchen, hall and part of lounge ! this happened whilst I was merrily typing [ two fingers like a woodpecker] away. Taken ten bath towels to mop it all up - the hot tap as well- and now I have loads of washing to do ! alba was it you who flooded out the kitchen a few days ago well I've "done an alba " !need to cook breakfast for Chief Stout, take the dogs out, leave lunch for CS and be out by 11am lifes not all leisure when you retire .
Gness love your canal story,truly do especially lending crutches to push the boat out what a hoot I would have wet myself laughing had I been part of it.

Just as well we laughed Dee. Walking back to the car every time S put pressure on the crutches water, mud and bits of weed squelched out of the little holes.

morning all from a brighter Edinburgh..just popped home to see things are ok..cut the grass do the crossword..you mag too easy today...then back to hossie to see dad..we think he is out tomorrow but mum may want me to stay on a bit to help look after him..my neighbour fell and broke his leg and he is in the next ward to dad.bad brake needed a plate put in ...so I have volunteered myself to do his lawns as well..straight to heaven me !!....soooo better get on with it...and..Tone ...you are my house man !!!..don't you forget it !! there are some taking advantage of my sojourn away from home..you know who you are !!!!

tony we lived in Sharjah next town to Dubai for 14 years took a lot of adjusting on our return, met & married Chief Stout out there when we came here and I cleaned the windows all by myself and various other household tasks even hoovering CS looked at me as though I was Wonder Woman ! he had never seen me lift a finger ! soon came back down to earth with a bump I did !
ps worked for BMW showroom out there and had a free company car changed each year CS got me the job !

yes Tony but we brought back a Merc, my boss wasnt happy ! prefer Merc to BMW its just a matter of choice I suppose. Off now to Essex Dog Day have a good day everyone.
