Does anyone live in or near Leamington Spa, I am thinking about moving there and just want some views on the area, like what parts are nice to live, where to avoid etc.

Thanks

This is absolutely no use at all but they do these quality of life indexes and i remember a few years ago Leamington Spa coming top.

I lived in Leamington for 21 years, its a very nice town, but like all towns it has its bad areas. the best areas are in Lillington, Cubbington, to the north side of town Milverton to the west, and some parts of Whtinash to the south. There is a newish area out towards Radford that is not to bad its called Sydenham farm estate I think.

The Place to Avoid is the Bridges area.

The Shopping is very good in the Parade and the Pryors.

Pleasant enough, very genteel Georgian spa town; housing can be pretty expensive, especially near the town centre. I'd pretty well concur with arty; if I were to move the 15 miles or so to Leamington I'd probably look at Cubbington or Lillington. Shopping's pretty good, and there's a decent variety of cultural events at the Spa Centre and other venues. In my experience Leamingtonians can be a tad insular - but not as much as the denizens of neighbouring Warwick!
