to get a silver ring resized? 2mm band and it is one size too small - has anyone got any idea? it's a really pretty cluster ring and fairly cheap (£15). i would be really grateful for any advice x

I got a gold one done for my wife for £10. You might find a workshop that would heat a silver one up a bit and stretch it, instead of cutting it and soldering in a little more metal, but it can't get much cheaper if the man's paying himself £20 an hour.

thank you, bert. it does only need a very small adjustment and it is very pretty and much like my original engagement ring which is way too small and gold, and i do not want to alter that one. i will feel much more confident going out and seeking a suitable jeweller to do this for me. again, many thanks x
