petrol prices??

ive noticed just lately hat the price of petrol is creeping up at about 1p every other day or so to being about 135.9 a litre at the moment but was amazed today to see a garage not far from me selling petrol at 126.9p a liitre, anyone beat that?

I'm going with the recommended 5W30 in mine, with an oil change at half the mileage suggested.
Interesting DT, but I use Tesco nearly all the time, I've never had a problem (touch wood)
well that makes sense if Mobil 1 or any full syn - the numbers about the life on the baseoils are just and that lasts a hell of a long time - it's the deterioration of the add packages that concern me more.....and depends on the add co as well (and you never see that - well not often).
or you have never noticed a problem that your consumption is down to others using cleaner fuels, boxtops......
The sooner we all back to a horse and cart the better, mind you the government will tax that too.

you certainly do, and it wasnt a supermarket petrol station either!
I remember the problems when it first hit £1 a gallon, as some pumps couldn't cope with the extra digit.
