Well, St Peter was described a rock by JC, so perhaps it could be a what, Qiuzmonster!
Peter actually means 'rock', Hal! It's from the Latin word 'petra'. He was the 'figurative' rock upon which the Church was 'built', as it were. It's a bit old-fashioned nowadays, but in the past a 'good guy' was often described as a 'brick' on the same sort of basis. That still didn't make a person a thing, I'm afraid.
It was a joke, quizmonster, albeit a weak one!
