He had a good life (and didn`t always worry about the consequences of his actions). When I was little, my Mum told me a story of how he fathered an illigitimate kid when he was stationed at the local RAF base (about 4 miles away). That rumour circulated around for decades. Years ago, I remember reading the story of that kid (a son) who had tried to get Max to acknowledge him. He always resolutely refused. I feel sorry for Max Bygraves but I feel more sorry for the son who never knew him.
