Three months ago today I had a total-loss collision because some numpty pulled out in front of me without looking. Returning from the supermarket just now, exactly the same scenario...except this time it was a young lad in a blue Micra-type car. Fortunately my brakes didn't let me down and, in the lad's defence, he must have been blinded by the sun.
Well, that just scared the you-know-what out of me! :(
Lol Ummmm. I just fancied a quiet night in with a cup of tea but I was offered a night out of great food and wine. We compromised on a bottle of wine and an Indian. X
I guess anything with a bit of depth to it - minor Montrachets?
Not my fav food, though the Tamarind in London is one of my fav restaurants. I adore good Chinese of all genres, spoilt by living 8 years out there in HK and the mainland.....
some great Chinese, from Sichuan to goose restaurants, local seafood, dim sum and high-end dining (Man Wah in the Mandarin Oriental, No 1 Harbour Road). I'm drooling......
Ouch - just read your OP NoM - must have been a nasty moment (not to mention the deja vu element).
Supper here was Sole fillets (which I suspect were still nonchalantly cruising about in the Channel this time yesterday) with some fresh podded peas and samphire (a lovely combination) and a couple of slices of the best Olive Bread I've had for a while. Hats off to the Fish Deli in Ashburton.
Avery's Le Bois de Viviers to accompany (chardonnay/viognier mix) - one of my staples.
