I found the leaves a little bitter & wondered how I can use them in recipes

I often have celery left over ..I just chop it all up ,leaves as well ,freeze it .Then add it to soups ,stews ,casseroles .

Chop them up and add them to soups and stews as a flavouring.

I've used the leaves in salads.

You can sprinkle the celery leaves on the top of soup.

thank you all for your answers - soup it is then, might use the fennel tops in there too.

If you spread the leaves out on a baking tray and then place in the oven on a low heat until they have dried out, you can then store them in a jar and use them for sprinkling on soups/salads/sarnies etc. They are less bitter when dried
