Stopping Spam and Pop ups
2 Answers
I've heard you can download free software to get rid of Pop-ups when browsing the web and minimise the amount of Spam mail received - is this right and if so, where could I get it?

That most excellent search engine and repository of goodies, Google, has a neat little toolbar that helps you get the most from your browsing. The latest version has a pop-up blocker. It works great and it's free!
For Spam sifting I use Spam Pal. It sits between your POP3 client and the Net and marks the spam so you can divert it to a separate Spambox for quick review and deletion.
http:\\www.google.co.uk for the toolbar and http://www.spampal.org/ for the spam buster.
Enjoy; stay safe and live long.
