I was rather surprised to learn today of someone having been told by the CAA that he has 6 months to seek redress by claiming (in the UK) under the legislation or else the claim will be rejected (which it consequently was). If this is correct then that must be one of the shortest periods of redress legislation's effectiveness known worldwide. Does anyone know what the truth is or, better actual case experience ?
I've responded to your other thread under Travel. It can get a bit messy to have the same question in two places. You may want to ask everyone to answer one or the other.
