Stupid pay dates

Just realised im getting practically no pay!!

Worked from 19aug....
Cut off date for shifts to be signed off is 31st aug for payment on 27th sept....

However PAY cut off is 25th aug :0(

I worked extra between 25/31st to get extra money or so i thought!!!!

Sept pay will literally be two shifts worth :0(

Octs pay will be 8/9weeks worth.... Theyl hammer me with tax....

I was last paid from job centre 1st wk Aug!!!!!!!!

Oct is a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time away.

Must make mental note never to work for the NHS if they get up to 8/9 weeks work out of you without paying you a penny?!

Normal payrates. Enhanced pay dependant on shifts i work x

are you on a fixed term contract or the bank list of workers? if i do overtime i can get that paid either weekly or monthly (my choice). if you aren't full time/permanent staff, then the pay rules may vary. six weeks is an awfully long time x

Im monthly. Used to b weekly until last year...so new recruits since last yr are monthly....

So if for instance a ward forgot to "sign off" my shift id be down 12hrs pay untill next month....so extra sure i know what ive done and have a rough estimate of pay...and chase up the wards to make sure im signed.

It works out longer than 6 x

that sucks, tinks. but...think of the joy you will have when you do eventually get your handson the dosh. i bought a widescreen tv and mr kicker a ps3 with my first paycheck. but remember what i said about keeping a record and taking your time back. and always get timesheets signed on the day - hassle the other person on shift to do so and deliver your payslip to the manager yourself. never just leave them in a pigeon hole....dump them on their desk if possible. someone on my ward thought it would be funny to hide all the bank payslips for a while to be an arse. you do work with some weird individuals. but congrats on working - keep your head down, ignore the politics, smile sweetly and make sure training needs/experiences are met and signed for promptly x

Well LCG ive my eye on a few training things!! Getting pretty amazing feedback to be honest right now, im feeling really good.

Im working proba more than fulltime, but means next week when parents are away i can afford to take time off to look after doggy woggy!! ;0>

ill b STARVIN by then mass lol c-nauld isnt toooo far!!! ;0>
