new years eve ireland

hello guys looking for something different this n y e and wondered if anyone has spent n y e in ireland looking for a couple of nights meal and entertainment ,,,, any help ???????

We went to Dublin for New Year about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it - didn't prebook any dinner or entertainment, we just squashed into the bars and then went to Christchurch cathedral at 12 to hear the bells ring in the New Year !
