Still all a work in progress. Saw eye clinic and all seemed fine on the visual field tests they did and they thought it might be eye spasms so tried me with quite a different lense precription. Got nice new glasses but blurred vision back so not so successful and an expensive trial though needed new glasses anyway. Back in clinic next month and just had bloods done, fasting glucose was ok so having general glucose, U&Es and FBC done.
Arthritis not too evil as steroid injection helped inflammation. Not allowed back on the hydroxychloroquine so back to see rhumo nurse in a few weeks to sort new meds. Fibro really bad at the mo, rhomboids in particular causing big problems, but seeing a physio and OT for things to help and having accupuncture and they are hooking it up to a TENS machine to try next session and seeing GP soon about meds. I'm wondering if muscle relaxant type drugs might help stop them getting so tense/inflamed.
Malabsorption still really bad but not back to gastro til December. Hoping it'll settle a bit on it's own accord though 6 months on from having my gallbladder out it's still really bad and lots of air and the horrible burping on and off and meds not making much difference. Wondering if that could be upsetting electrolytes and such and maybe something to do with the blurred vision.
Become a bit of a hermit just trying to focus on working and keeping my income coming in and gentle stuff and getting lots of rest so looking forward to getting a bit more life back.
I'll get there eventually! :)
