this has been a totally brilliant Paralympic Games, having been to the Paralympics swimming and athletics would say that despite a few problems i have loved every moment. After watching Dave Weir, giant of a man, take his third Gold, and then see Jonnie Peacock smash the 100m last evening to take Gold that was the icing on the cake. Hats off to the organisers, the gamesmakers, and even the transport system which has held up well.
London has been a good place to be these last few weeks. Had my doubts, especially about the transport, but Gold star to all. Hope those who were able to go had as good a time as we did.
Have watched loads on the tv the athletes amaze me and the atmosphere at all the venues has been fantastic not just for the gb athletes but all involved and Dave weir and johnny peacock last night had me shouting them home!! superb!!!

Another Gold Star from me Em. Being in London for the Paralympics was a joy and an experience I won't forget.
Brilliant organisation throughout and such a happy, welcoming city. I loved it.
we are not always like this, mores the pity, but I am proud to say London has put on a first class show. it started with the Diamond Jubilee and rocked on since then.
Now, when people see athletes like JP, instead of thinking "Oh my god, you do athletics? With one leg?" ... they are going to think "Oh my god, that's Jonnie peacock!"
