Has anyone downloaded the file sharing programme e mule? Is it any good? Do you have to pay for it?

as stated there is a higher chance of getting viruses but the program is free. as for how good it is well it is the first i use and wellit seems ok but i suppose it depends on who uses it as i understand p2p is file sharing and not a general web search so u get what others put up for sharing and i have no idea how to enter new files although i see that the ones i have downloaded so far are being reuploaded to other client. aparently there is also a credit system whereby the more u give another client the more he gives u making ur downloads faster.
Kaaza was notorious for viruses, I have never had a virus from emule. Although I do scan before I open a file.
The only problem is with emule; user's can change the name. You need to get a player that will let you preview early on in the download. As what you see is not always what you get. I use VLC media player.
