a day in the life of a 74 year old sprightly buut knackered lady

today I took Hubby for a blood test at the local hospital, took him home, then dropped his prescription off at our GP, from there I went to town [ parking a nightmare] and waited in line to my eyebrows and upper lip threaded [ same as plucked] from there I drove somewhere else to get my hair done [ 2 hours roots needed doing], then I went to the nail parlour for an infil from there I drove to Tescos - very busy on a Friday to get the frozen chicken etc for my dogs, then on to Aldi for my items and I was out by 11am and back before 6pm, next I have to cook dinner and then take the dogs out. I am knackered as I was up at 6am today,but I thank God every day that I am able to do it.Oh I forgot also filled the car up with petrol on the way home.

Is hubby able to do housework and stuff? If so I hope that you gave him a list of chores.

I had a day like that yesterday and I managed to sleep most of the night - that is unusual for me. Alas the young lad in my avatar decided to sleep at the bottom of the bed - but he lay across the bed and took up more than half of it.

Knackered? I would have collapsed only doing a part of that. The jigsaw puzzle I'm doing wears me out!

Oh dear......the third time I did it she got up and went home. Whoops.
