Answerbank Profanity
13 Answers
For the 1st time I've had a knockback from AB for using a profanity. I had included the word cr@p in an answer in the context of nonsense or rubbish. According to my dictionary this is an acceptable use of the word, albeit slang, that is certainly not a profanity. What are the most inoffensive or innocuous words that get disallowed on this site ?

hear hear Einstein. and please add 'Dacourt', 'Mandic', 'agent', 'debt', 'bid', 'contract', 'personal terms', 'medical', 'window', 'Bosman' and many more to that list. I'm sick to death of all the transfer talk. Can't all the teams just come out at 3 pm on the first saturday of the season and surprise us with who's playing? That would be fun. This has been an unfortunate effect of the transfer window system - all the gossip is concentrated into two short periods and it's boring me to death, even though I'm a huge football fan.

You're right Squirrel. You can't make a posting containing the word beginning with C and ending with ENSOR. That's mighty strange. Maybe ABed can explain why. Any attempt to use that word results in your poating being deleted and the message that you can't use profanities.
