Last couple: 1 ac "Perhaps it's the sea could fill a small one, from west to east and north to south!" (4, 6). I have W?R?/S?U?R? - Word square? But can't see the word play.
24 ac: "African means to reject baby born on April 1st?" (5). I have N?I?A - so NAIRA looks OK as African currency but again can't see why (except that A is 1st of April).

Thanks for any help.
