Wilsons disease/syndrome?

Im 99% sure thats what its called but after being told twice and still not hearing properly I didnt want to ask again!
A woman I work with has 2 children, a girl and a boy, and when I met the boy he clearly looked very different . He is 4 but absolutely tiny, yet his head seems out of proportion to the rest of him. He has quite bulging eyes, and all his teeth seem to have snapped off halfway down and are all jagged. His speech is very poor, I cannot understand a word he says. has anybody heard of this before of have I got the name wrong? I would like to be a bit more understanding of it.

Could it have been William's Syndrome?

A little boy at my son's primary school had this and he died aged about 11. He was a lovely little boy but was very over friendly with everyone.

Hmmmm, I guess it might have been.....

The only word I understand him saying is hello, or ello as he says. he says it, I reply, then 1 minute later he says it again. this can go on for ages.

Yes...it si a well know syndrome due to excess copper in the body...an inherited genetic disease.

To save my typing....just Google Wilson's Disease in children and that should tell you all you need to know.

So the physical symptoms I describe are typical? I will have a Google. I do hope it doesnt affect life expectancy.

The teeth and and large head are not typical......but the rest ...speech etc is typical.
