I thought it was very good .
At the beginning they say it's a true story ..which of course it was .I'm old enough to remember The Great Train Robbery .
I read an article somewhere that his wife was consulted about the programme
It seemed like schadenfreude that he won the money on the horses and thereby had enough money for the deposit on the house and didn't need to go and rob a train but of course he was committed by then. They would never have let him opt out .He knew too much .He was possibly between a rock and a hard place .
