I will tell you my Asda experience. I went equipped with my shopping list.
First stop the pharmacy to get Micmak's 'script'
Then on to shopping. The bleach I buy, empty shelf.
No Primo cabbage.
No Walls skinless pork sausages.
No small wholemeal rolls.
Fag counter. No Carlton superkings and the lottery machine awaiting the engineer
Back to pharmacy to pick up 'script' Only one item available.not the three ordered.
I buy these items all the time (when they have them)
This is a 24hour store supposedly. It also has a petrol station which was getting a delivery so NO customers allowed on forecourt. I wish I was back in London at times.
Umm he was up and ready to come on here yesterday. It took ages to get him sorted and on the computer chair. Then we had a knock on the door. The power was going off for approx 3 hours. I was livid but he had a good laugh.
I would love to get him a lappy but I wouldn't have a clue as to how to set it up with out wires.
It is so infuriating - last week my daughter was on her way to visit me, she called at Asda on the way, went to the kiosk for my 20 Cigs and was told, it was closed as only one staff member available and they need 2 after 8pm, was directed to nearest offy !! Ridiculous.
No one Mamya. Since Mic has been unwell people whom he looked after and did odd jobs for and shopped for have gone into the wood work. What we thought of as friends are apparently not.
I have recently learned from Asda that Roll Back can also mean Roll Forward. I queried an item that was on sale a month ago which was a roll back, I bought the product and guess what , when I returned to buy more, it was the oringinal price, but it still said Roll Back, when I queried this with an assistant, she said"well it is now back to the usual price so it is really a roll forward. ! Be careful it is so easy Ab's to be conned.
