Flower Deliveries

I want to send some flowers to a family friend to celebrate some good news. I'd like to do this online for convenience but am having trouble finding a company who will:
A) Allow me to send a message with the flowers of more than 10 words (I need it to be 17 words, to be precise), and
B) Not require the recipient's phone number. I am happy to give my own phone number for any queries but I am not prepared to give out somebody else's phone number without permission.

Can anybody suggest an online florist that might meet these requirements?

Why on-line? Why don't you just ring a florist in the recipient's home town and get them delivered. You can put any message adn you are more likely to get a better bunch from their home town as they will be keen on their reputation!

M&S? They do adorable flower arrangments...not sure about the quantity of words..

I suppose I prefer online because I like to look at pictures of the available bouquets beforehand so that I know what I'm sending.

I might have to forego that luxury though, and do just what you suggest.

I looked online to send my sister some flowers.I found one in her home town and rang them.I just told them what i wanted,how much i wanted to pay etc.Paid over the phone no problems.They were delivered on time and were even better than i expected when i saw them a week later.

if you ring and make a big deal of it; expressing that they must be special etc..... The usually do a good job!
