Should she go to school tomorrow?
18 Answers
My daughter was off school on Friday with temp etc, went to docs yesterday, prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis.
She had a temp this morning but has been ok since, been complaining of a sore throat now and again today but seems a lot better than yesterday.
My husband is keen to send her to school tomorrow if she doesn't have a temp through the night. I would probably keep her off tomorrow. What would you do?

I always err on the side of caution as they seem to get poorly again if you send them back to school when they are not 100%. (But I would only do that with the ones in primary school and probably only think that way as I don't work so it is no hardship to me if they stay home or not.). Hope she feels better soon.
Apparently (good old google) tonsillitis can be viral or bacterial and is contagious - http:// kidshea lth.org ...iral /tonsil litis.h tml
Do as my mum used to do - ask her if she wants any breakfast - if she says yes she's well enough to go - if she says no send her with a sandwich Only joking Misscommando - see how she is through the night and watch her in the morning - we always feel worst first thing and again in the evening - she will probably feel better as the day goes on - play it by ear
