hiya, sorry but i need ebay help again!
I have a listing that i started at £50 with a BIN price of £95. I think it will be popular because even £95 is a good price and i have 24 watchers. Someone has bid £50 AND then sent me a message asking if he can buy it now for £95.
What to do?? Also, why would he have bid, if he wants to BIN? Are you allowed to sell it now once someone has bid, even if it's the same person??
Huh! I've had a narky email from the buyer admonishing me that i should have accepted his BIN offer! i wanted to email back that he shouldn't have been so stupid, and made the BIN offer first, but i want to keep him onside because 1) i want his money and 2) i don't want him to "lose" the parcel, or damage the goods and get a refund. If i take pictures of it as i am wrapping it, do you think that'll be good enough if he does "damage" the jacket?
Some people on eBay are a nightmare - you either have to give in to his demands or run the risk of upsetting eBay (and they an be really odd about stuff).
What a whinger. Sounds like a nasty piece of work bednobs. The second chance bidder sounds all right. Perhaps he will withdraw his offer. I would not give in to him - he is not worth it.
He has agreed the price and the postage , if he does not pay just message him that unless he pays within a few days (say 4 ?) then you are selling it to the underbidder.
Don't sell to him until the auction has ended, that way its a legal sale. Your covered then if he is going to con you, and you'll have a case to claim any money due to you in the case of fraud with your bank.
