How do I go about removing someone from being a contact and banning them from being able to send me emails?

Please answer in 'words of one syllable' aka 'idiot's guide' lingo?

As there has recently been a crystal ball amnesty any chance you can tell us what email service or program you are using?
Oh, but regardless... you can't ban anyone from sending you emails, you can only block them from being received.
You could either 'block sender' from the 'message' sub heading at top or create rules so that the message from that person is deleted at the server before it gets to you. Assuming you are using outlook express of course.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks, sorry, it's Hotmail, and yes, I want to block them from a certain individual, thanks.
Under 'Options', go to 'Preventing junk email' then go to 'Safe and Blocked senders'. Add the person's email address. Messages from blocked senders are automatically deleted.
