A crown (dental work)

I am having a crown next week.
I have no idea what this involves (dentist did explain but it was months ago and I wasnt paying attention)

All I know is it is costing me £209!!

Are you getting a white one or NHS metal crown? Not sure what the NHS rules are but if you have to 'go private' to get a white one it will be worth it.

The worst bit is having your tooth filed to a point to accommodate the crown, you can't feel any pain but the smell is horrible!

can I come to your dentist? Ours charges £500 for a crown!
