Thought this was a wind up...

'A trip round Kettering Crematorium is just one of the activities offered by a county organisation aiming to keep older people active.

Another example of it being none of his business gness.
While on holiday in LA (how the poor live - thank you Virgin air miles), I did a visit to the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills and did a self guided walking tour to see where the stars of the past were buried. The one I went to see being "Stan Laurel".
I parked the car in front of the chapel and on return a funeral was arriving.
The stretch limos parked either side of mu hire car and men in dark glasses the size of Brick S houses got out. I very carefully manoeuvred the car and left.
My relatives will have to pay for my funeral!! But I don't really want anything except the cheapest coffin and a quick trip to the crem. They know that. Religious service is certainly not wanted by an of us. Not an expensive thing and if they can't afford it, then they can hand me over for a state funeral.
Guided tours? Sounds like it's the crem de la crem
Yeuch gness........................I hate slobberers.
Nice one Viccasso. Must remember that!
Question Author
perhaps the tour finished with a bar-b-q ?
...mmmm....well it takes all sorts as they say Parky...glad you are happy with your "arrangements" I never book anything in advance unless there is no other way possible....might be ill and can't turn up and lose my money..;-)

On reflection there ain't much danger of missing ones own funeral....;-)

IMO..."scary"
Not my kind of trip, what a great day out a guided tour of the crem and help on making your last Will. Your last bit of activity above the ground before we put you under, enough to cheer anyone up. I don't want to waste money paying in advance for my funeral. What if they drop the bomb before that, splatt.
lol chas....nobody shout "hey what's cookin'" heh heh!
since when was over the 50's old ?
Em the Daily Mail says, a survey states that middle age starts at 55.....then by 69 you are old.....and the Daily Mail knows everything...:-)

Still young at 50 then!
i did read that but i take umbrage at this article, trundling people round a crematorium for a fun day out, not really
Well you must admit em , it would be more fun than on your final visit.....mmm...on second thoughts, could be wrong ...
I went touring in Devon & Cornwall a while back and every place we visited had a "to the crematorium" sign.
Dee, do you think they are trying to tell us something.
