I have a Nokia mobile, and its playing up this morning for the first time.

I can put message on but it just wont send. Keeps saying --message failed.

Any ideas whats gone wrong with it. I did drop it last week but it stayed working.

Thanks for any replies x

this may be pretty obvious, but do you have

a/ the correct number
b/ enough credit
c/ enough signal?
Could be a network problem, or maybe your transmitter/receiver may have gone wrong. Alternatively the intended recipient of the text may be experiencing issues.

I have full signal.
I have about £3 credit on it.
Have just rang 150 to check on credit and that has no signal now!

Jesus, maybe time to get a new one. Maybe get on a monthly thing to get internet now. You reckon I'm living in the past? lol

Have tried to text 3 people today and it wont send.
Could just be a signal problem. A lot of masts are being taken down because of the Orange/T-mobile = EE merger (as a lot were redundant).

If you're with them, I'd reconsider your provider.

I'm on T Mobile ED.

Hope to sort it out soon as its driving me crackers. Still not working so will see about a new one tomorrow? Thank you for replies Abers x

BLOOMING HELL!!! Mobile now working folks. WHOOPPEE.

Just rang a friend to ask to text me , then text her back. Was fine.
So --just sent 3 text's and they all got sent.
Havent a clue was was wrong with it in the first place. (£6 in credit)

Thanks again Abers x
sometimes if you swithc it off then on again it connects to a better signal from a different mast, orange/t mobile are the worst for that
All networks have problems at some point. Removing redundancy ought not affect service, but maybe someone dropped a spanner where they ought not. Glad it's back and working anyway.
